Mike Cogan started to work in the "lock" business during his teen years when he worked for a Philadelphia locksmith company. Mike found the business fascinating. After serving with distinction in Vietnam in the US Navy as a jet engine mechanic, and later at the Naval Air War Center in Warminster, Mike received his BA from Temple University.
As Maintenance Director of Warminster Heights I've been dealing with Mike's Lock Shop for over twenty years. These guys have been my life saver on many projects. Truly the best lock shop in the area. For over 20 years we here at Bucks County Community College have relied on the professionals at Mike's Lock Shop.

An excellent Lock Shop. Christina was helping us to purchase the right door handle for our commercial building & she was incredible. Somebody tried breaking into our brand new building 2 weeks after our moving in and damaged the lock. Mike's Lock Shop fixed it for free. We couldn't be any more grateful. Great job, guys!

The only place to go when you need keys made that work correctly the first time awesome staff knowledgeable and polite. They will get you in and out in a timely fashion with quality keys that work the first time unlike some of your other stores (lowes/ home Depot) Never disappointed every visit every key always flawless

Very nice people and customer service is key, no pun intended. Got replacement keys for my truck, one was faulty in the manufacturing and they took care of me. I also brought in a 100+ year old skeleton key to my wife's great grandmothers furniture and Nelson did a beautiful job making a duplicate from hand. I highly recommend. Shop local. You will be glad you did.

Quick, professional, honest shop. I needed two key fobs for my car either fixed or replaced as the buttons were not working. I called Mike's Lock Shop after a recommendation and striking out at a couple of other lock places. Nelson from the shop was able to give me a price over the phone that was $100 cheaper than the dealership (and this was worst case scenario if the keys actually needed to be replaced and programmed but they said they would try to repair the keys first which would save me even more and of course the dealership never offered this option).
I made an appointment and the morning of I was greeted and offered a place to sit and wait where there were snacks and a fridge with drinks. The repair took only 15-20 minutes and ended up costing less than $50. I was impressed by the quality of work and the honesty of the staff who could have easily made a lot more money off of me but instead made the simple repairs and saved me a couple hundred bucks in the process. Would definitely recommend!

Mike's Lock Shop is a wonderful operation. I had a nightmare with a remote key for my Lexus. I called and spoke to Nelson. He was a pleasure to deal with. The store is clean and extremely well run. All of the staff are knowledgeable, polite and attentive. they took care of my problem much faster than I had anticipated and were extremely reasonable with the pricing. I would highly recommend Mike's for any key or lock related issues.
