Im at the parking lot but Moe was so great I can not leave with out letting everyone know how amazing he was. Made me copies in less then 3 minutes. Super helpful and nice. I will def be back.

So I've now used their services twice (both for apartment and mailbox spares) and both times I was extremely satisfied. The prices are reasonable, the employees are friendly and their services are quick. Keyway was the only company that could even copy my previous apartment key so I 10/10 would recommend you check them out if you need spares, copies or replacements keys.

I purchased a used VW bug for my kid's first car. It only had one key. I contacted the VW dealership and they wanted $500 for a cut and programmed key. So, I was able to take the original fob apart and matching all numbers, ordered a blank from Ebay. I called the dealership and they would not cut or program that key. I tried multiple hardware stores and locksmiths with no luck. Then.

A friend mentioned Keyway! I called them, and within a couple of hours I had the new keys cut and programmed at less than 1/5 what the dealership wanted! My Ford only had one key at that point, so I turned around and came back with blanks that they cut and programmed, again saving me about $800 VS the ripoff dealerships! They were nice, friendly and didn't mind my intrusion into their workspace while I waited for my keys to be cut and programmed. 100% I will use Keyway for any and all locksmith needs I have from now on!

I needed a spare key in a pinch, and Keyway provided unbelievable and immediate service. I stopped by and they were able to make a copy on the spot for me. I will definitely return for all my locksmith-related needs, and I would recommend them to everyone!

These guys gets the job quickly and efficiently. I was able to get a call in service scheduled real quickly despite losing my keys in less than 24 hours. I also enjoyed visiting their office while they re-rigged my car keys and remote. Great group of personalities, too! Would trust again!

I was referred to this locksmith by a dealership. So I thought Keyway Lock Service would be a good company. At first, everything was fine. I got a decent quote, and next day service to my home. I was told the locksmith would arrive between 2-5pm. So I waited. And waited. And waited. After 5pm I called their office, asking if the locksmith was still coming.

I was told he called me, but didn't get an answer. SO HE DIDN'T COME. I couldn't believe it. I didn't hear a call and said so (plus, I was waiting for a knock at my door, not a call). Sure enough, I found he did call at 4:26pm. Around the time I went to the bathroom. No voicemail. When I told the person who answered and said I stayed 3 hrs waiting for a locksmith, I didn't get any sympathy.

Just would I like to reschedule. Obviously, this company must be doing well. Well enough not to think about their customers and THEIR time. Losing business from me won't even register for them I know. But I'd rather flush my money down a toilet than give it to a service provider who doesn't factor the customer in it's service.

I found Keyway Lock Service on the web of course but I must say I was very, very, very pleased with the level of professionalism and personable technicians there. I arrived early this morning and literally my request was completed within minutes. If you need anything done please use Keyway as I will certainly use them for all of my future lock needs! Was not sure if my front door lock set needed repair or replacement. All I knew was that the door would blow open if the dead-bolt was not engaged. Clearly, the latch needed attention. Called Keyway Lock Service who had a technician out within 24 hours. Within 30 minutes, the lack was fixed, and the entire lockset was inspected and lubricated. No upselling. No muss. No fuss. Cameron Erazo was terrific. I had a dead battery and was locked out of my vehicle. He provided fast, friendly service, cutting keys on site without charge and giving me a needed jump. Would definitely use Keyway again -- and request Cameron!

I'm sooo behind on reviews for quality companies I've worked with in the past 2 years. Keyway has been seriously awesome! We landed a project in Washington DC, and keyway literally and quickly became our most trusted friend in the Locksmith trade in that area! They know what they are doing, they are fast, reliable, and very affordable for large projects!

I needed copies of a key made during this COVID-19 crisis. These guys were fast, friendly and very well priced. A different locksmith I called hung up on me when I asked if they could make copies. Call Keyway first!

Great locksmith in Del Ray (Alexandria). I needed to get a key copied but my local hardware store wasn't making copies due to covid19 issues. So I found Keyway online and called and they said "come on over". They are located right next to Arlandria Floors on Mt. Vernon in the lower level of a condo building. Easy and fast. Very pleased.

I can't believe how nice the employees are at Keyway. They are so helpful, starting with the phone operators to the staff working in the building itself. I was a little confused about how their services worked (all on me, not them lol), and they were super patient with my questions. They even made me extra keys without charging me. I wouldn't hesitate to call them in the future with any locksmith and/or key related needs.

I would highly recommend Keyway Lock Service. I found them to be knowledgeable, professional, courteous and responsive to my predicament. I had broken the key off in my firesafe lock. I called them and asked if I could drop by this afternoon with my firesafe and have them open it for me. Within minutes of arriving they were able to get the broken key out of the keyhole and made sure my spare key worked properly.

These guys are amazing. We had a problem with the lock on one of our rental units. The lock just stopped looking on a Saturday! I called and withing 30 minutes Mr. Kefeir was at our door and fixed the lock on the spot. He even made a key also right on the spot. He really saved us from having to leave this apartment unlocked all weekend. We are very grateful!

Great folks over here! I popped in unannounced on a Saturday morning with the gas tank removed from my bike. Had lost the keys and just needed the lock open. They hooked me up and had the tank open in a few minutes, no fuss at all. Great process, good people, and definitely my go-to for anything like this in the area. Thanks again!

Giving 1 star since I can't give 0 stars. My truck ignition cylinder was going bad. It stalled out on me at a supermarket. I couldn't turn the ignition, or run the heat in 40 degree weather. A body mechanic recommended these folks. Ughh. I called at 1pm and explained the situation. The lady helping me didn't seem to care or was particularly interested in my situation.

She said they could come between 2-5. I asked her if they could come quicker than five since I was sitting in the cold parking lot. I'll she said was "2 to 5 we don't do emergencies." Super apathetic. I told her that I felt she was being very unhelpful and snide, and I asked to speak with a manager. She told me she was the manager! I'm cry.

This chick is the manager? Oh my gawd. I asked to speak with the owner. She said she wouldn't transfer me to the owner unless I gave her my registration number and VIN. Kick rocks, Keyway. By the way, Baldino's in Alexandria (Duke Street, ask for Chris) helped me diagnose the problem and I was able to start the car with the help over the phone. I still need to replace the ignition, but they helped me in a pinch.

@Kidist, while I appreciate the response via this public forum. I still haven't heard anything from the email I send directly to Max. While Keyway should be sorry and apologizing for how my situation was handled. Max should be apologizing to me personally for leaving me a voicemail where he called me an idiot, followed up by an equally rude email.

I wish I could post the voicemail. I'm glad he is too busy to be polite. I'm guessing that if he continues to interact with people this way.that problem will solve itself.

They were able to take care of our store door lock the same day. Exceptional service by Rafael, very professional and knowledgeable. Called when he was one the way, was able to determine the issue and needed repairs right away. Quoted a price and a short while later we were done. They are a little pricier but this this is my second time using them and I think they are worth the money. Definitely recommend.

These guys are great. prompt, reasonable price and totally competent. They are not shy when you have a challenge or an issue that is not a day to day issue. Carlos did an install today. he was prompt knowledgeable and cleaned up. totally professional job.
