Excellent! The first thing you're told to do when moving is change the locks. I came to yelp for some help finding a locksmith and Star Locksmith had great reviews. They absolutely lived up to the reviews! Bulent was able to come by quickly and changed all our locks. He made sure every lock was working smoothly and the doors are like new now! Highly recommend!

Star Locksmith did an excellent job fixing 2 door locks in my condo on Nov 18, 2021. Communication was great, he arrived at the promised time and the price was fair. Highly recommended.

My building's external door lock wasn't working properly and he gave me a very prompt response to my questions and request for an estimate. I sent photos to simplify the conversation about what type of lock was involved and what the problem was. He was very flexible with his availability and showed up on time. He arrived with a mask and was very respectful of my building.

He correctly identified the age of the existing lock / door handle hardware. He had extra locks / door handles available but was able to diagnose and fix the problem without new hardware. He finished / resolved the problem in 5 - 10 min and within the expected estimated cost. I definitely recommend him; he knows his stuff.

He is honest locksmith very old fashioned prices which are affordable not like scammers who come to house and say one price then another

Excellent locksmith. Needed apartments re-Keyed after a tenant move and they were there in hours after my call. Had City Lock out two times previously to address issues with a loose lock set and they were never able to fix it. Star Locksmith came out to rekey and fixed the lock set the was "not able to be fixed" by City Lock twice. It's Star Locksmith every time from here on out!

After closing on our new home, everyone immediately said to change the locks. I messaged Star after seeing their outstanding reviews and a swift response from Bulent had us scheduling an appointment. He arrived and was extremely professional, the entire job (6 locks) done in about 30 minutes. Before leaving he noticed our main entrance had some wonky screws inserted which was hurting the doorframe.

He asked if he could address it and in the blink of an eye, had new screws in and the door shuts perfectly. We discussed fancy digital/smartphone lock tech after, so when we're ready for those, he's getting our business again. Highly recommend this business for any lock needs.

Bulent was *AMAZING*. About a month prior I spent $760 to replace locks for 3 doors with another company. Within a couple of weeks my tenant complained one of the locks was not working. I had the other company come out, but they really didn't do anything. I decided to not waste more time and went with Star Locksmith based on the strong, positive reviews. Bulent was prompt and respectful of my home and tenant's space.

He checked out the problematic lock and determined it was faulty manufacturing and poor install by the other company who didn't cut the key right. While some other company would probably seize the opportunity to stick it to me, Bulent carefully went through my options to help devise one that would work for the three locks and address this major key issue. Excellent service from initial quote to day of installation. Bulent and his son showed up right on time after calling to say that they were on their way. Critical: Value Gave me an estimate of $400 saying it was an expensive lock. Home Depot had it for $100. When I declined, they pushed for estimating pay even though none had been discussed at first.

Five Stars for Five Star Locksmith. I got locked out and called about 3-4 of the first "highest" rated (aka, sponsored) locksmiths in South Boston and either got a "we are closed for the night" (it was before 7pm) or "I am stuck in traffic and can't turn around, call someone else". Then, got in touch with Five Star, who not only picked up their phone, but had someone to me within 20 minutes. He called me five minutes out to let me know he was close by, was polite and got the job done - quickly! Five Star should be your go to Locksmith.
