Can't speak highly enough of this place, the tumblers in my ignition were shot so I had it repaired here. Everything was fixed same day, and they even held my car overnight because I was unable to make it out there before they closed. Jordan was very helpful and really nice to me, same with the taller older gentleman behind the counter except I didn't catch his name. Both of them knew what was up right away and got it fixed.

I found the Chicago Locksmiths on Google and appreciated the great customer service experience when I spoke with Melissa over the phone. Upon arrival I was greeted with great customer service by Alejandro and Jordan. I was able to get two issues resolved at once. I came in for a replacement key fob since I broke mine and also had to get my car door cylinder replaced so my car key would work in the door. Jordan was very thorough in explaining and showing me the issue with my door. They did an awesome job and I will definitely refer customers and be back. Thanks so much Chicago Locksmiths.

Amazing service. The gentleman who helped us was straightforward and helpful. We just wanted to replace the locks on our condo (front door, back door, and deck door) with three new that were keyed alike. He explained that we probably didn't need the super-high-end lock he had in stock, and sent us over to Crafty Beaver to get some perfectly good Schlage, and then came back to the Locksmith to have them re-keyed. Saved us money!

Absolutely amazing! I was running a couple of minutes late and they were ok making a few copies of keys! Best neighborhood key shop! Originally I went to Lowe's to make copies of keys but they did NOT WORK! So I came here and the gentleman knew exactly what the issue was. I believe his name was Jordan customer service. Either way I am bringing all My keys here! The KEYS WORKED! Thank-you for your amazing customer service!

Great (and quick) customer service by Jordan. I lost one car key and accidentally broke the other one, all in one weekend. Called around Chicago area Lexus dealers and locksmiths. Chicago Locksmiths had the correct remote key fobs in stock, and were very competitively priced compared to the dealers. Very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend.

I had to re-key my mom's apartment and called Chicago Locksmiths, the girls on the phone was prompt and courteous. Matt came out to do the work, he called and was prompt to arrive. The work turned out to be a bit more complex due to the age of the equipment (old Chicago buildings), however Matt was patient and diligent. He made several adjustments to make it easier for my 82 year old mom. When everything was done, I was very pleased with the work, the ease of locking the door. He was very neat and clean. I would highly recommend Chicago Locksmiths and Matt.

I was able to schedule an appointment with in a few days of calling. Scheduling a locksmith was a breeze. Operator asked all the right questions. Locksmith came with in the 2 hour windows. David gave a real assement of the issue and the potential ways to fix the locks. He was able to answer all my questions about the repair and the lock. He was able to fix and set up my lock in about 30 minutes. Thanks for your help David! Prices are reasonable. I would recommend Chicago Locksmiths.

We have had keys made at a large chain hardware store and then they don't work. Chicago Locksmiths have sensitive machines and knowledge to give you quality products and service. I would highly recommend them!

I called to have a new deadbolt installed figuring that I would have to wait for the new year and to my surprise they said they could have someone out same day. Moe was great came in and out my new smart lock in without any issues. I had another company out and they said they couldn't install it because my door jam was metal.

When I called Chicago Locksmiths the 1st point of contact was wonderful. She asked all the correct questions. I was supposed to get a call back but I waited about 17 minutes and called again. A different Operator apologized for the wait then reached out to the Driver which followed up with a called to let me know how far away here was. 10 minutes later Oscar arrived. He opened the car in less than 5 minutes.
He was really cool. We chatted a bit about how I got locked out. We compared prices in Chicago versus the Suburbs. The Price was better than I expected. $25 - $35 less than what I have come across. On top of it all I was able to make it to work on time. Great service all around.

Great Company, my car would not operate and I thought it was my key fob. Robert from Chicago Locksmiths came out promptly and worked hard to make me keys to my car door, which I no longer had. He then determined it was not the fob that was the problem and that probably it was my car battery and assisted me with this as well. They were able to schedule me the following day at a convenient time with my work schedule. Andre called me 30 min before my 2 hour time frame started. He confirmed my location and how to enter my building. Once he arrived, we discussed the type of lock I wanted, and then he went straight to work. Andre is friendly, polite, and diligent. He made obtaining a new deadbolt lock a very positive experience for me. I would highly recommend Andre and Chicago Locksmiths.

I was beyond happy with this. I got locked out of my apartment building the night before thanksgiving and they responded instantly and sent Gabriel their tech, instantly. I had to have my parents who were being difficult pay for the situation and not only did Gabriel sit and calm me through it, he still gave me an amazing break for what it should have cost. These people genuinely care about your situation and the techs like Gabriel will sit with you to get it sorted. Couldn't feel more confident.

I was referred by a friend to Chicago Locksmiths and I see why! They were fantastic! I got locked out of my apartment on my way to dinner. In a panic, I called my friend to cancel dinner and she insisted I call the locksmith near her office and referred me here. She said they were great and I'd probably still be able to make dinner. I was convinced that this was going to take hours, but they showed up in 20 minutes! Needless to say, I wasn't even that late! They got me in and out in a flash. No damage or scratches of any kind. The technician was friendly and worked promptly. I was so impressed! If you're ever in a pinch, give them a call!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Chicago Locksmiths gave us several options to fix our lock problem and save us money. After they quickly replaced our lock, was kind enough to take a look at another lock that was giving me a problem. I would highly recommend Richard and Chicago Locksmiths Company! He was great!

This locksmith was quick and I had great service! I bought a new motorcycle and it only had one key, so I needed a couple of spares. They were able to cut me two new ones and tested them to make sure they worked. The employee even went back over one of keys to make sure it worked smoothly. These guys are great. We found their storefront after we'd copied a dozen keys at Home Depot and none of them work. New batch from Chicago Locksmith were higher-quality key blanks and worked perfectly. Last week, I called them to replace a door lock at our home, and they offered same-day or appointment service. Their guy showed up right on time, examined our doorknob and determined he just needed to clean the lock out, not replace the knob and lock as we'd thought-- which saved us probably $100.

I am a Real Estate Broker and I ran into an issue at a property where I needed someone out asap because the door was not working and the tenants needed to move in. I called Chicago Locksmiths and they were available same day and even flexible to make the time that I needed work. Steve Schmidt- the locksmith who came out was great! He called ahead of time to let me know he was on the way, and showed up when he said he would.
He worked with two different locks at the property and had all the tools and materials on site so we did not have to wait for parts and he did everything in no time at all! Robert was amazing, my car keys fell into the street sewer, and he was able to drive down and was here within the hour to make me new keys. It took him less than 20 minutes to get me two copies for my car. They are very cheap compared to other locksmiths I had called, and definitely cheaper than towing my car to thedealership. Im going to use Chicago Locksmiths every time I need new keys made! The staff is super helpful and nice and the keys actually work. Keys Ive had done at Home Depot get stuck in my locks, but Chicago Locksmiths keys are perfect replicas. They also have a wide selection of keys available - I was able to have my mail key copied, which Home Depot doesnt have.
