This was an extremely relieving experience! I recently lost my car key and needed someone to replace it for me. The in office team was kind, honest, forthright and helpful (and the owner was a hoot!). They had to program my key before coming, and they walked me through all of the potential issues and risks. They sent me Moe, a kind and professional man who's been with the company for 17 years now and did a quick and thorough job. He, too, was courteous, kind, and forthright. I hope to never have to call on them again, I am so grateful to have such an excellent locksmith in my town! A++

Recently called about getting a new car key. Jim Gomez was so honest about the possibility of my old key working still. He walked me through how to reprogram this key to the car. Such nice people- good and honest and accommodating. They allowed me to work from inside while they did my car key programming. They went out of their way to accommodate me. Someone answered the phone and was incredibly rude! I thought I found a listening device in my home. I called and asked if they could verify its not part of house alarm equipment and was treated like I was on fbI most wanted list and rudely hung up on! This is a company that advertises hidden surveillance cameras. I will be going to the authorities to find out but thought I would rule out home security first.
This guy was a total jerk about it! As a previous customer to this company im offended by how these "professionals" were so unprofessional! Steer clear here unless desperate and even then think twice! The response below is evidence of how they turned a blind eye to a customer with an excess of 10,000 worth if business. So apparently confirming a piece of hardware is from your installation or not implicates you to hang up on me and refer me to police? Very disappointed and upset with your company and I'll make sure social media knows how you support your customers!

The IAL Total Security shop @ 500 West Main Street in Smithtown is terrific! I have a 2007 Jeep Liberty & needed a spare key/fob. At first, I ordered one on EBAY. Well, that was a mistake. IAL checked the key out & the car's computer failed to read it. Jim, the manager there ordered a new key/fob direct from the dealer. However, the dealer key would not program correctly. Jim sent for another key & that one wouldn't program correctly either!
But Jim wouldn't give up on it. He made numerous trips to the dealer in Smithtown, spending a lot of his own time & effort for me & really went out of his way to get this right. It was finally discovered that the dealer had a bad batch of keys, & that's why the key would not program correctly! Jim would not charge me for all the extra time he spent trying to resolve this issue. What a great guy; courtliest, a real gentleman! If you need any sort of alarm or car key work done IAL is the place to go!.Joe
